Atatürk Oto Sanayi, located at the heart of Istanbul's central business districts and surrounded by high-value residential and office projects, serves as a point of resistance within the urban transformation process. As one of the city's most established industrial zones, it is a critical node where production, transformation, and evolving patterns of use intersect — positioned along the catchment area that defines Maslak and its high-rises, the area embodies a hybrid character where formal and informal modes of production meet.

Atatürk Oto Sanayi, its industrial identity, and its unique ecosystem within the city make it a distinctive urban node. However, under the pressure of urban transformation, this ecosystem needs to be reconsidered and preserved. Spatially, it is an important point where Istanbul's industrial structure and shared production areas intersect. Since the 1920s, as the automotive sector rapidly developed, the area has evolved into a collective space that brings together both production and commerce, introducing a form of organization that generates not only functional needs but also encounters and interactions within the environment.

The discipline-crossed design of compact housing units that provide maximum comfort in minimum space — the capsule units — were designed with a focus on healthy living, prioritizing individual privacy and comfort. Equipped with personal balconies and balcony-likes, these units bring the universe out into the interior, supporting both physical and mental wellbeing. Enhanced with biophilic design and ergonomic forms, each capsule creates a balanced and harmonious living environment.
